Request to Cancel an Existing Alarm Permit
Before we cancel your alarm permit, we want to make sure that you are aware of the Bylaw regulations.
Under the Alarm Bylaw, Regional District of the Central Okanagan Alarm Bylaw No. 1382, it does not matter if your alarm is monitored or not, it is required to be registered.
If you choose to cancel your alarm permit and someone walking down the street calls the police because your alarm is going odd - you will be fined - if the alarm is deemed false by police attendance.
(refer to page six of the RDCO Alarm Bylaw No. 1382 for full fee schedule and details available here)
