Request to Cancel an Existing Alarm Permit
Before we cancel your alarm permit, we want to make sure that you are aware of the Bylaw regulations.
Under the Alarm Bylaw, Regional District of the Central Okanagan Alarm Bylaw No. 1382, it does not matter if your alarm is monitored or not, it is required to be registered.
If you choose to cancel your alarm permit and someone walking down the street calls the police because your alarm is going off - you will be fined - if the alarm is deemed false by police attendance.

annual alarm permit with RDCO.

on behalf of the Central Okanagan East and Central Okanagan West Electoral areas and all local governments in
the Central Okanagan (City of Kelowna, District of West Kelowna, District of Lake Country, District of Peachland and
Westbank First Nation.)
