Gibson Heritage House

The historic Gibson Heritage House is located in Kopje Regional Park on the shores of Okanagan Lake in Lake Country. The house, built by George Gibson in 1912, has been restored and refurbished by community donation.

Discover what life was like on a beach homestead in the early 1900s by taking a guided tour of the house!

Drop-in for a guided tour on Sundays beginning June 30 and until end of August from 10:30am to 3:00pm.

History

This stately beach home was built by George Gibson in 1912 and has been entirely restored and refurnished by community donation. It includes artifacts from the 1910-1930's era and local historical information.

Heritage Exploration Programs are available by donation for school and community groups who'd like to learn about our local cultural history.

Gibson Heritage House is located at 15480 Carrs Landing Road in Lake Country B.C.

Take Highway 97 North through Winfield and turn left on Oceola Road. Turn right on Carrs Landing Road and follow to Kopje Regional Park.
