RDCO ‘s GIS Team provides GIS services to departments within the RDCO and to our member municipalities which including Lake Country, Peachland and Westbank First Nation.
The links below will take you to our on-line mapping application(s). The application(s) are used by the public and the staff members of RDCO, Lake Country, Peachland & Westbank First Nation.
There are detailed map layers for each department, including: Base Cadastre, Engineering, Parks, Planning, Fire Protection & Waste Reduction. Each of these map layers are kept up-to-date on a weekly basis within our above municipalities, and monthly for Kelowna & West Kelowna.
NEW – RDCO Web Map (Beta) – Does not use Silverlight
RDCO’s newest web map contains all the same information as the previous map but does not rely on the Silverlight plug-in. This map is now able to go mobile on all devices, and is in the last testing phases. Some new functionality with this map includes – street view, directions, markups (drawing on the map), better printing and the ability to change the basemap. RDCO Web Map – Uses Silverlight plug in
This web map relies on the Silverlight plug-in. Here is a short list of some of the Information that the viewer includes for properties: size, location, zoning, streetlights, sewers and other services provided to a specific property. You can also view the latest orthophotos for the area and print property reports.
RDCO Historical Air Photos – Uses Silverlight plug in
This web viewer contains historical Air Photos for the RDCO that you can view and compare. The Photos originated from various projects throughout the years covering different areas and they were stored in filing cabinets at the RDCO. But you can now view that imagery online here! How exciting to see how the area looked in: 1951, 1959, 1964, 1973, 1976, 1984, 2003-08, 2009 and 2012-14.
RDCO GIS Open Data
RDCO not only offers its own GIS data for download but its partners as well such as Lake Country, Peachland and Westbank First Nation. Their data can be viewed on our webmaps and is available for download here. We have also provided links to City of Kelowna and City of West Kelowna’s GIS Open data download sites for your convenience.

We've Gone Mobile!
Our Mapping Services can be viewed in webpages on your mobile device or you can download ‘Explorer for ArcGIS by ESRI’ onto your phone and use that app to view Regional District of Central Okanagan Maps. This app will allow you to track your location see features around you, you can also click on the different features to get more information on them.
