The Regional Waste Reduction Office is offering subsidized Earth Machine backyard composters for $40 (tax included), a big savings from the regular $100 retail price.

Based on the success from 2012 we are also once again offering Worm bin composters for $80 (tax included) and Green Cone food digesters for $95 (tax included).  A Worm bin is perfect for condo or apartment dwellers and the Green Cone food digester is very low maintenance and takes ALL types of food waste, including fruit and vegetable, cooked and uncooked meat, fish, bones and dairy products, and can even handle pet waste.

Pick Up Information

In early May, the Regional Waste Reduction Office will bring the composting units to a convenient location in your community for pick up.  Your pick up location will be noted on your receipt once you purchase the bin you want.  ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
