Unclutter your life by taking part as a seller or shopper at this spring's 'Trunk Sale'!
It takes place from 8:00 am to 12 noon on Saturday, May 24th in the parking lot near the Okanagan College student residence, 1000 KLO Road.

The 'Trunk Sale' has proved extremely popular in the past two years. It's designed specifically for those people who don't have the space to conduct their own garage sale and is perfect for apartment dwellers or those who live in condos are townhouses.
If you'd like to reserve a free spot to sell your household items at the 'Trunk Sale' you have to register by Wednesday, May 21st. Contact the Regional Waste Reduction Office staff at 250-469-6250. Registered sellers must set up on the day of the sale between 7:00 and 8:00 am only.
What's a 'Trunk Sale'?
A Trunk Sale is form of market in which private individuals come together to sell household goods out of the “trunks” of their vehicles. It’s like a big garage sale with over 150 households selling their gently used goods. It is a great opportunity for those that don’t have space for a garage sale to sell off their unwanted stuff. It’s also a great place to find tons of bargains!
Where and When is it?
This year’s Spring Trunk Sale is Saturday, May 24th, 2014 from 8 am – Noon.
Okanagan College located at 1000 KLO Road (in the parking lot next to the student residence building).
The event is rain or shine and admission is free.
How do I register to be a seller?
Each seller receives two parking spots, one for your vehicle and one spot to display your items for sale. To register for a spot, please call the Waste Reduction Office at 250-469-6250. Space is limited and there is often a wait list. Deadline to register is Wednesday, May 21st, 2014
Set up for sellers is from 7 am – 8 am ONLY. Take down is between Noon and 1 pm. Various charity organizations will be on hand to take away any unsold items that you would like to donate.

I am interested in shopping, where do I go?
The sale runs from 8 am – noon on Saturday, May 24th at Okanagan College on KLO Road. Everyone is welcome to brouse, shop and there is no admission to get in.
The Okanagan Mission Lion’s Club will be on site serving breakfast and lunch. If you enjoy this event, please support it by supporting the Lion’s Club.
