Community Clean Up Any Time Of The Year!

April is Community Clean Up Month across the Central Okanagan.  But you can organize a clean up any time of the year!

Are you looking for a fun, quick way to make a difference in the community? Maybe you need school community hours? Do you need an activity for your next block party or a project for your family? This year, why not volunteer to clean up litter in your park, neighbourhood, or roadway?

It's so easy to take part! View Poster

Simply choose an area to clean then contact the Regional Waste Reduction Office to register.  We supply the garbage bags, gloves and other safety equipment you'll need.   Then pick up the litter in your area and call us when you're done.   We'll pick up the bags and take them to the landfill. Anyone can participate, any time of the year!

To register your group for the Community Clean Up simply email the Regional Waste Reduction Office (recycle@cord.bc.ca) or call at 250-469-6250.
