May I cut dead trees on park property?

Cutting any tree on park property is prohibited. If a tree has fallen and has been cut in sections and left on site, you may take the wood provided you don't drive your vehicle off the road surface.

Numerous volunteer opportunities for teens, adults, and seniors exist throughout the Department of Parks and Recreation. Contact the Parks & Recreation Community Relations Coordinator at (250) 868-5204.
