Volunteers in Parks Programs
If you are looking to get involved in the community and learn a little about our
natural environment then the Volunteers in Parks program may be right for you.
The VIP program provides a variety of opportunities for you to be involved in the
Regional Parks system. You can work as a park warden, help out in the EECO Centre,
or assist with special events. We interview and train new volunteers each spring.
2008 is our 13th year for the program and if you would like more information please
contact the office.
All volunteers receive skills training, a t-shirt, a nametag, and a quarterly newsletter.
