Traders Cove
Features and Things To Do:
Traders Cove is a beautiful lakeshore park to enjoy on a warm day with family and friends. The park has
two swim areas, a covered picnic shelter and a playground.
Outside the swimming areas, there are also buoys that boats can tie
up to in each bay of the park.
Regional Parks Interpretive Programs are available by donation for school and community groups who
would like to learn about our local environment and cultural history.
General Information:
The park is open in spring, summer, and fall during daylight hours.
The parking areas are closed during the winter, providing
limited access to the park.
Traders Cove is 13.5 hectares in size and has two parking areas,
the lower one is paved, the upper parking area is packed gravel.
Much of the park is in its natural state. Dogs, overnight camping and open fires are not permitted
at any time in the park. Special events can be booked in the park by calling the main office.
Help protect park vegetation and wildlife by using only designated trails. Leave only footprints and take only pictures.
Location:
Westside Road just past Bear Creek Provincial Park and Traders
Cove subdivision.
Directions:
Turn right onto Westside Road from Highway 97 South, the first set of lights after the bridge.
Follow Westside Road past Bear Creek Provincial Park and the
Traders Cove subdivision. At the Waste Transfer Station,
turn right from Westside Road and follow the access road down
into the park.
