Development for the park is in the planning stages and the park is not currently open to the public. This park is considered a conservation park and any development will be completed with the aim to conserve and maintain the integrity of the ecosystems within.

Stephens Coyote Ridge Regional Park is currently closed to the public but contains 102 hectares of beautiful natural area including ponds and grasslands. It is largely untouched by weeds and is pristine habitat for wildlife, including coyotes who live in the park as the name suggests.
