School Programs
This is a great opportunity to put into practice what students are learning in the
classroom. School programs are available for Kindergarten through Grade 12 and adult
education classes are also welcome. Programs can be adapted to fit your education
needs, in the classroom, in the park, or at the EECO;
the Environmental
Education Centre for the
Okanagan.
Programs are hands on and discovery based. Each program is linked to the curriculum.
Consult the
Integrated Resource Packages booklet from the EECO Heroes, to find out how
the program fits the learning objectives outlined by the BC Ministry of Education.

Join us to learn about the multitude of field trip opportunities in the Central
Okanagan. More than thirty representatives from various museums, parks and other
field trip sites gather to talk to teachers and educators about field trips. This
will give you the resources to teach Environmental curriculum in the classroom or
in the field. Receive a free guide to everything the Central Okanagan has to offer
for field trips.
