Kalamoir Regional Park is 27.6 hectares of beautiful park nestled along the shore of Okanagan Lake. 

Management Plan

On November 28th, 2005 the Regional Board approved the Kalamoir Regional Park Management Plan that was prepared after public consultation by a technical working group.  The plan outlines priorities for park improvements and the cost estimates associated with them, while protecting the sensitive environment of this park.

Things To Do:

Kalamoir Regional Park provides trails along the beachfront through wooded areas of Black Cottonwood and along the grassland benches above. You may enjoy biking, running, hiking and naturalist activities in the park. Ensure you have appropriate clothing, footwear and equipment for hiking the trails.

Regional Parks Interpretive Programs are available by donation for school and community groups who would like to learn about our local environment and cultural history.

General Information:

The park is open during spring ,summer and fall during daylight hours. The parking area is closed during the winter months.

Dogs must be kept on a leash within park boundaries and owners should clean up after their pets. Motorized vehicles are not permitted on the hiking trails. Overnight camping, open fires and smoking are not permitted.

Help protect park vegetation by using only designated trails. Leave only footprints and take only pictures.

Directions:

Turn off Highway 97 S onto Boucherie Road (Macs). Turn left onto Douglas Road, right onto Thacker Road and left again onto Collens Hill Road, the parking lot is at the bottom of Collens Hill Road
