The Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan (EECO)

Come and explore this fun environmental discovery centre, where it's okay to learn, touch and discover!  The EECO (pronounced ee-COH) is a wealth of information and fun exhibits on environmental subjects like water, Okanagan flora and fauna, and local ecosystems. We encourage you and your family to participate in our hands activities!

Public Notice:  Please obey trail closures and stay out of areas marked closed in the Sutherland Hills area and slope between Mindy Tran Bridge and Spawning Channel in Mission Creek Regional Park.  Crews will be removing beetle-infested hazard trees through the end of March as heavy equipment and tree falling will be taking place.  View News Release

Programs Available:

The EECO has new displays and exhibitions each season. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff also offers programs that correspond with the current display. Admission is by donation.
