A Variety of Employment Opportunities

The Regional District provides opportunities for people with a wide variety of skills. We have positions that are full-time, part-time and seasonal. Other types of employment that we offer include:

Casual Relief:

Occasionally the Regional District may have opportunities available for temporary positions, for periods of short duration, such as Vacation Relief or Sick Relief. If you are available on a casual basis, please indicate that within your cover letter.

Summer Students:

The Regional District does hire summer students for employment, usually starting in May and running until the end of August. Positions vary from year to year and post secondary students are encouraged to submit their job application packages early in the year (January-February) to the Human Resources Department for review. In order to qualify, you must be enrolled in a full-time post secondary program and you must be returning to full-time studies the following semester.
