What We Do

The people that make up the Regional District of Central Okanagan are one of our most important resources. As our Mission Statement says our friendly and knowledgeable staff is dedicated to providing, effective and efficient services that meet the needs of our citizens, in a manner that nurtures growth, opportunities and prosperity. Maintaining and encouraging this high level of commitment is a key focus of the Human Resources Department.

This involves the administration of 138 full, part-time and seasonal employees. The Human Resources Department is also responsible for labour relations, recruitment, training and career planning, employee health and safety and Workers Compensation regulations. Risk Management issues and Freedom of Information are also functions that fall under the Human Resources Department banner.
