What We Do

You can help keep your community safe. If you know anything about a crime or suspicious activity, make a difference by calling the Crime Stoppers TIPS LINE at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You don't even have to leave your name, and you could receive a cash reward for your efforts. Crime Stoppers is a regional program that offers cash rewards of up to $2,000 for anonymous tips that lead to an arrest, the recovery of stolen property or illegal drugs.

Since the Central Okanagan program started in 1987, confidential tip information has helped RCMP seize over $23 million in drugs and recover over $2.8 million in stolen property. The Crime Stoppers office is funded by the Regional District, while policy and promotions are carried out by a volunteer board of a non-profit society. Generous community donations and fundraisers provide funding for cash rewards, promotion of the TIPS LINE and special projects like Student Crime Stoppers.
