Transportation Committee (no longer active)
With the incorporation of the Westside District Municipality in December 2007, this
committee of the Regional Board was disbanded and its work is now undertaken by
the Governance and Services Committee. Link to

When it was active, the Transportation Committee was made up of all Directors of
the Regional Board and during 2007, Kelowna Director Robert Hobson was the Chair,
while Westside Director Aaron Dinwoodie acted as Vice-Chair.
The Committee was responsible for the following roles:
- Regional Transportation Planning
- Transportation Demand Management
- Regional Transit Services, including handyDART
- Cycling Network
- Urban Trails
The Committee reported to the Regional Board on the following areas:

Meetings of the Transportation Committee were open to the public.
