With the incorporation of the Westside District Municipality in December 2007, the Regional Board approved adjustments to its committee structure. The former Air Quality, Engineering, Parks Advisory, Planning and Environment, Transportation and Westside Issues committees were disbanded and as of January 2008, matters that had been previously dealt with by each committee will be considered by the Governance and Services Committee at one regularly scheduled daytime meeting each month.
